Hey friends! Thanks for checking in - just leaving a quick update to let you know what's been going on, and what's coming up:
NEW ALBUM: "RESONANCE"
I'm happy to announce that my new CD "Resonance" has been officially released on Ghost Note Records! I'm excited to finally get this music out into the world, as it's been over a year since we were in the recording studio. I'm honored to have a stellar cast of musicians on the record: Evan Marien (bass) and Gene Coye (drums) can be heard throughout the album, and there are a few special guest appearances by Bennie Maupin (bass clarinet), Seamus Blake (tenor sax) and Deen Anbar (guitar).

Additionally, here's an in-studio video of the second song "Relentless". This is the full take that we eventually used on the album. Please enjoy, and if you feel so inclined, spread the good word!

To celebrate the new album, there will be two CD release shows:
Rockwood Music Hall (East Coast): Sun July 9
The Baked Potato (West Coast): Sun July 30
These are two of my favorite venues to perform at, and I'm looking forward to dusting these tunes off, since they haven't been played live since May 2016!
ON THE ROAD
Diamond Head, Hawaii, HI
While finishing up the album, I've been keeping busy touring with a handful of artists. The last few months have taken me to Europe (Tei Shi), Hawaii (Colbie Caillat), and a bucket list destination for me - India (Richard Bona). Unfortunately we were only there for 36 hours! It was a whirlwind - culturally rich and stimulating. Can't wait to go back.
